5. Put food in the oven.
Dunng baking, the elements will turn on and off to keep the oven temperature at the setting.
The top element helps heat dur- ing baking, but does not turn red.
Broiling
Position the rack before turntng the oven on. See “BroilChart“ In the Cooking Guide or a reliable cook- book for recommended rack positions.
Put the broiler pan and food on the rack.
Close the door to the Broil Stop posi- tron (open about 4 inches. 10.2 cm). The door will stay open by itself.
