Installing the Pedestal

Followtheseinstructionsto installthe pedestalon a washer or dryer.
1. Openthe pedestal
draweras far as possible
andremove the
contents.This package
contains4, #12 x 5⁄8" hex
headsheet metal screws
usedin step 5 and
dividerpack.

Washeror Dryer Is In Its Packaging

1. Positionthe packaged washer or dryer closeto its final
position.Cut the packaging as follows:
Washer:Cut plastic
filmalong dotted
cutline around the
base.Do not
removethe
packaging.
Dryer:Cut carton
aroundtop and
downcorners
alongdotted cut
lines.Lay all four
cartonsides on
floor.Discard carton topand corner posts.
IMPORTANT:Leave carton bottomunderneath dryer.

2. Verifythe 4 spacer pads
areinstalled on the top of
thepedestal.
3. Using1/4” nut driver, removethe hex-head screws from both
drawerslides and save screws. Remove
thedrawer from the slides and set
aside.Push the slides back
intothe pedestal.
2. Laywasher or dryer on its back.
NOTE: Whenlaying the washer on its back, hold thebottom
capdown on the floor. Do not removethe plastic film, corner
postsor top cap. These protect the floorand washer back.
Whenlaying the dryer on its back, the floorand dryer back
areprotected by pieces of the carton.
