PROBLEM

CAUSE

You do not hear the programming or end-of-cycle tone.

You have turned off the tone. (See the “Audible signals” section on page 14.)

Display contrast

PROBLEMCAUSE

The display is hard to read.

The display contrast is not set correctly. To adjust display contrast: TURN to select Custom. PRESS for next screen. TURN to select Display Contrast, PRESS and follow directions.

Display messages

If the oven detects an internal problem, it will run a self-checking program and a screen similar to the one shown here will appear. If this occurs, please call KitchenAid at 1-800-461-5681for assistance.
