You can customize the look of the thermostat by changing the faceplate color.

1.Remove the white faceplate. Insert a small screwdriver into each of the 4 slots located on both sides of the thermostat, and pop up the white cover in all 4 spots.

2.Select a color from the inserts provided in the package.

3.Put the clear cover on a flat surface face down.

4.Fit the selected insert onto the 4 tabs located on the inside of the clear cover. Be sure the insert is properly aligned. Do not bend the insert excessively.

5.Flatten/spread the insert gently with your fingers into the clear cover.

The insert should rest securely attached to the tabs, even if you turn the cover upside-down.

6.Snap the faceplate (with the insert in it) onto the thermostat. Make sure the cover tabs align with the installation slots in the thermostat.
