2.5 Install batteries
Install 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the top of the thermostat.
2.6 Snap thermostat to the wallplate
Do not restore power to the heating and cooling system until instructed.

Note: After a period of inactivity, the thermostat display goes to “sleep” where only the temperature and the
icons are visible. To “wake up” the display, press the icon.
3.2 Set fan and system mode
1. Press the FAN icon to set it to AUTO.
2.Press the SYSTEM icon until you see COOL (to turn
on cooling), or until you see HEAT (to turn on heating).
