Bid Specs:

The receiver shall be a body-pack type with an IR detector on the front of the unit. The receiver shall be housed in a shatter-resistant plastic case with a hinged battery door that does not separate from the receiver. The receiver shall operate on 95 kHz frequency with 50 µS de-emphasis. The receiver shall have a red LED “on” indicator. The unit shall have a lanyard for hands-free operation. The receiver shall have a combination volume control and power on/off rotator dial. The receiver shall operate for 15 hours with a 9 Volt alkaline battery and for 6 hours per charge with a 9 Volt NiMH rechargeable battery. The receiver shall have a 3.5 mm phone jack with an output of 250 mW. The phone jack shall accommodate low-impedance mono earphones, headphones and neckloop telecoil couplers. The receivers shall provide 127 dB SSPL90 output with an EAR 013 earphone. The receiver shall have a signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dB with the TX95 transmitter and 70 dB with the WIR TX10 transmitter. The receiver shall be covered by a five year parts and labor warranty, excluding earphones, headphones, batteries and chargers. The receiver shall be the Williams Sound Corp. model WIR RX3.
