IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1Read all instructions carefully.
2To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put immerse or rinse Motor Body, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
3This appliance should not be used by children and care should be taken when used near children.
4Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
5Avoid contact with moving parts.
6The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
7Do not use outdoors.
8Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils away from moving parts and Discs while processing to prevent the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the Cookie Press. Handle Discs and Tips carefully when removing, inserting or cleaning.
9Be certain Tube and Tube Cover are securely locked in place before operating appliance. Do not attempt to remove Tube or Tube Cover while operating.
10Be certain that cover and tube are securely locked in place before operating appliance.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way.

Before Your First Use
1Carefully unpack the Cookie Press and all accessories.
2After unpacking, wash Cookie Discs, Pastry Tips, Pastry Tip Adapter, Tube Cover, Pastry Tip Cover, Tube, Cam Disc, Press Disc and Cam Shaft with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3Make sure the unit is unplugged and then wipe all surfaces of the Motor Body with a slightly moistened, soft cloth and dry thoroughly. Never immerse the Motor Body, plug or cord in water or any other liquid. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive cleansers as they will damage the finish.
4Thoroughly dry all parts so that no water enters the Motor Body.
