Date and Time Settings

You can establish the time and date for the 3820TX tablet thin client by accessing the Date/Time applet in the control panel and completing the following procedures:

1.Double-tap the Date/Time icon to open the properties sheet.

2.Enter the required year, month and day.

3.Enter the required current time.

4.Enter the required Time Zone.

5.Click OK to save the settings.

Display Settings

You can establish appearance of the background picture on the 3820 tablet thin client desktop as well as configure the display settings that affect battery life by completing the following procedures:

1.Double-tap the Display Properties icon to open the properties sheet.

2.If desired, enter the bitmap file desired for the desktop background.

3.To change the backlight settings, tap the Backlight tab.

4.Set the timer and Enable the backlight turn off while on battery power.

5.Set the timer and Enable the backlight turn off while on external power.

6.Click OK to save the settings.
