System Settings

This control panel applet allows the user to see the configuration of the 3820TX tablet thin client as well as to change the way the internal memory is allocated and used. Changing of the memory allocations should only be done with specific knowledge of the required program and storage requirements. You can change the system settings by completing the following procedures:

1.Double-tap the System Properties icon to open the properties sheet.

2.The system information is displayed on the General tab.

3.To view or change the memory properties, tap the Memory tab.

4.If desired, change the allocation between storage and program memory. This option may be disabled on some product configurations.

5.Click OK to save the settings.

Volume and Sound Settings

This control panel applet allows the user to set the volume of the 3820TX tablet thin client sounds and to set the type of tones and alarms that are heard. You can change the volume and sound settings by completing the following procedures:

1.Double-tap the Volume and Sound Properties icon to open the properties sheet.

2.Move the slider to increase or decrease the system sound volume.

3.Enable or Disable sounds for events, applications or notifications.
