To advance rapidly
SEARCH
• | The sound can be heard (although slightly garbled) during | |
| manual search in either direction. This is convenient for | |
| locating a precise position within a track, or for reviewing the | |
• | contents quickly. | |
Manual search can also be performed while disc play is | ||
• | paused, though no sound will be heard. | |
When using the SKIP/SEARCH buttons on the front panel: | ||
(Press and hold.) | Be careful not to release a button just after it is pressed, | |
otherwise the play is skipped to the beginning of the next | ||
| ||
| track or returned to the beginning of the current track. |
To reverse rapidly

Automatic spacing
If you record a disc onto tape with an insufficient time space between tracks, the tape deck will not be able to perform blank search operations on the tape correctly. Such a search mistake of the deck can be prevented by pressing the

When the automatic spacing function is in effect, the display of the total time and of the total remaining time will include each of the 4 second
