Recording Melodies

This section explains how to step-record notes, using three music score examples.
The explanations here apply to step 7 of the section “Basic Operations for Step
Recording” on page 148.
Select the Voice for recording after calling up the Step Record display.
1Press the [G] button to select “.”
2Press the [H] button to select “Tenuto.”
3Press the [I] button to select “normal” note type.
4Press the [6

] button to select the quarter-note length.
5Play the keys C3, D3, E3, F3, G3, and A3 in order, according to the
notation example.
Since the music score displayed
on the instrument is generated
from the recorded MIDI data, it
may not appear exactly the same
as shown below.
