Troubleshooting

If CRW4416SX is not performing as expected, look up the symptoms in the following table, and take the appropriate corrective action.

Symptoms

The power to the CRW4416SX is off

• Make sure that there is no dust, dirt, or

 

condensation on the disc or tray.

 

 

Caution: Applying physical shock or vibration to the CRW4416SX while a CD-R disc or CD-RW disc is being written may produce writing errors.

Note: In the case of CD-RW fixed packet writing, the recordable capacity will be approximately 100 Mbytes less than the capacity indicated on the blank disc. This is due to differences in the recording format.
