ÁSwitch the TV ON and select the Audio/Video (AV) position, e.g. AV1, AV2, which has been connected to the player.
ÁSwitch on the stereo system’s power if the player has been connected to a stereo system.

3 Place a disc onto the disc tray.
Hold the disc without touching either of its surfaces, position it with the printed title side facing up, align it with the guides, and place it in its proper position.

Reading
The disc tray is automatically closed and play begins.
ÁWhen the disc tray is closed by pressing OPEN/CLOSE, press PLAY to commence play.
ÁWhen a menu screen appears on the TV monitor
In case of interactive DVDs or Video CDs with playback control, a menu screen appears on the TV monitor. Perform step 5 on page 15 to commence play.
