Avoid running the outboard at high speed while on the flushing attachment, or overheating could occur.

| 3) | Run the engine at a fast idle for 10~15 |

| minutes supplying fresh water. |
| 4) | Just prior to turning off the engine, |

| quickly spray “Yamaha |

| Engine Fogging Oil” (Part No. LUB- |
|
| |
|
| silencer cover. When properly done, |

| the engine will smoke excessively |

5) | Remove the flushing attachment and | |

| wipe off any excess water. |
6) | Install the top cowling and the pro- | |

| peller. |
