16. MUTE MODE
In Mute Mode you can mute (i.e., switch off) any or all of the backing
accompaniments, even while the song or pattern is playing.
■ENTERING MUTE MODE - Hold [MODE] and press [MUTE] to enter Mute
Mode. The word “MUTE” will appear in the lower left area of the LCD, along
with the currently selected backing track and its present status—“ON” or
“OFF”.
■SELECTING A BACKING TRACK - Hold [MODE] and press [PAGE+] and
[PAGE-] to select the Bass Track Mute (“B”), Chord 1 Track Mute (“C1”), or
Chord 2 Track Mute (“C2”) function. The LCD will display the mute on/off
status of each as you step through them.
■MUTING THE BACKING TRACK -
Select either the Bass, Chord 1 or Chord 2
track and press [+1] to turn the Mute on for the selected backing track. The
word “ON” will appear in the LCD. Press [-1] to turn the Mute off for the
selected backing track. The abbreviation “OF” (Off) will appear in the LCD.
Whenever any or all backing tracks are muted, the word “MUTE” will appear in the middle right area
of the LCD.
