DOLBY S NR
DOLBY S NR is developed incorporating the concept of
DOLBY B/C NR.
It offers the noise reduction effect increased by about 40%, compared to the former DOLBY C NR, and also the noise level of the low frequency range is reduced to 1/3. Highly natural sound can be reproduced with the help of the modulation controller, which regulates 5 NR units — 2 for low level sounds and 3 for high level, one of which is for low frequency signals.
DOLBY S NR has also high interchangeability. The tapes recorded with DOLBY S NR can well be reproduced by the decks which are equipped only with DOLBY B NR, headphone stereos or car stereos for example.
