Throttle lever is in the incorrect position Empty fuel tank

Primer bulb wasn't pressed enough Engine flooded

Old or improperly mixed fuel

Fouled spark plug

Plugged spark arrestor

A C T I O N

Refer to the Starting/Stopping instructions Fill fuel tank with properly mixed fuel Press primer bulb fully and slowly 10 times Flip throttle level to FAST and pull starter rope Drain gas tank / Add fresh fuel mixture Replace or clean the spark plug

Clean or replace spark arrestor

ENGINE WILL NOT IDLE

Air filter is plugged

Replace or clean the air filter

Old or improperly mixed fuel

Drain gas tank / Add fresh fuel mixture

Improper carburetor adjustment

Adjust according to the Carburetor Adjustments section

 

 

ENGINE WILL NOT ACCELERATE
