... if all displays (inclusive of residual heat indica- tor ) go out during cooking?

DThe overheating protection of the electronic con- trols has blocked the use of the hob. Once the cooking zone has cooled down it can be operated again.

... if the display flashes?

If the hob has been used at a high setting for a long period of time, the overheating protection of the electronic control will become active and the front left cooking zone will become inoperable. This occurs to prevent damage to the electronic controls. The front left cooking zone will operate

again once the appliance has cooled down and is no longer in the display. The front right and rear cooking zones can still be operated during this time.

... if the display lights up?

Check, whether

Dthe touch controls are entirely or partly covered or contaminated by liquid or by a wet cloth.

DClean the ceramic glass surface and wipe it dry.

DIf after switching the appliance back on, the dis-

play still shows . Contact your local Service Force Centre.

... the cooking zone automatically switches back to setting 7 during cooking?

DBecause the temperature is too high, the electro- nic control thermal cutoff has triggered an auto- matic reduction of the cooking setting. You can in- crease the cooking setting again, after the cookuing zone has cooled down. If you try to in- crease the setting again and the display flashes, this means that it is not yet possible to carry out the desired increase, because the appliance is still too hot.

If after carrying out the above checks your appliance is still faulty, disconnect from the mains supply and con- tact your local Service Force Centre.

In guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is not a mechanical or electrical breakdown.

Zanussi ZKT 622 HN, ZKT 622 HX installation instructions What to do

ZKT 622 HX, ZKT 622 HN specifications

The Zanussi ZKT 622 HN and ZKT 622 HX are two versatile and efficient induction hobs designed to elevate modern cooking experiences. Known for their sleek design and robust functionality, these hobs reflect Zanussi's commitment to quality and innovation.

Both models feature a striking black glass finish that seamlessly fits into any contemporary kitchen decor. With a total of four induction cooking zones, they offer ample space for multiple pots and pans simultaneously. Each zone is equipped with a powerful induction system, allowing for rapid heating and precise temperature control. The induction technology ensures that heat is generated directly in the cookware, making cooking not only faster but also more energy-efficient. This method minimizes heat loss and is safer, reducing the risk of burns since the surface cools down quickly once the cookware is removed.

A prominent feature of both the ZKT 622 HN and ZKT 622 HX is the inclusion of a flexible zone option, which allows users to combine two cooking zones into a larger area. This functionality is particularly beneficial for larger cookware, such as griddles or large pots, enabling even cooking and enhancing versatility. Furthermore, both hobs incorporate a boost function, providing an extra burst of power for when quick heating is necessary, ideal for boiling water or searing meats.

User-friendliness is evident in the intuitive touch controls that provide seamless adjustments for temperature and cooking time. The digital display ensures that settings are easy to read and adjust, offering precision in cooking. Additionally, both models come equipped with a timer feature that allows users to set specific cooking durations, enhancing convenience and enabling multitasking.

Safety features are also a priority with the Zanussi hobs. Both models boast an automatic shut-off function that activates if a zone remains on for too long without interaction, and a child lock feature to prevent unintended use. Moreover, an overheating protection system ensures the hob adapts to the temperature needs, safeguarding both the appliance and the user.

In summary, the Zanussi ZKT 622 HN and ZKT 622 HX induction hobs stand out for their modern design, innovative cooking technologies, and safety features, making them an excellent choice for both novice and experienced home cooks looking to enhance their culinary environment.
