はじめに

Net_ID(ESS) はユーザが設定できます。使用可能な Net_ID(ESS) は、大文 字と小文字が区別された、最大 32 文字の英数字です。同じ LAN 内で通信 を行うノードは、すべて同じ Net_ID(ESS) を持つ必要があります。AP に 異なる Net_ID(ESS) を割り当てれば、1 つの環境で複数の LAN を共存させ ることができます。

ルート AP と関連付けプロセス

デフォルトでは、WLAP モードが有効で、お互いの通信範囲内にある複数

AP は、電源投入時に自動的に関連付けされ、無線動作パラメータが設 定されます。この関連付けプロセスにより、無線接続が可能かどうかが決 まり、ルート AP とともに指定 WLAP が確立されます。

無線で関連付けして通信を行う AP には、Net_ID(ESS)、暗号モード、デー タ転送レート、短絡 RF プリアンブルの各値を同じように設定する必要が あります。

ルート AP は、ビーコンの送信や、指定 WLAP 間での設定 BPDU(Bridge Protocol Data Unit) パケットの送受信により、WLAP 間の無線接続を維持 します。ルート AP には、最下位の WLAP ID をを持つ WLAP がなります。 WLAP ID は、WLAP の優先順位の値と MAC アドレスが結合したもので す。ルート AP と関連付けされる WLAP は、ルート AP チャネル、
