2.6.2接続の確立

両方の AP PPP 接続を確立する手順は、以下のとおりです。

1.[MAIN MENU] [Set System Configuration] を選択します。

2.[PPP Interface] [ON] に設定します。

3.スペース・バーまたは左 / 右矢印キーを使用して項目内容を変更し、 Enter キーを押して確定します。

2.6.3モデムによる PPP 接続

PPPインターフェースでは、モデムを使用して電話回線を介した接続が可 能です。ストレート・シリアル・ケーブルを使用してモデムを AP に接続 します。1 台の AP 発信側 AP、もう 1 台の AP 応答側 AP と指定しま す。応答側 AP に対するダイアルアウト情報を使用して発信側 AP の設定 を行います。応答側 AP は、発信側 AP からのダイアルを受信待機します。 AP がサポートしているモデムについては、付録 B 対応モデム」をご 覧ください。

ダイアルを手動で行う場合は [Special Functions] メニューで設定してくだ さい。そうでない場合は、起動時に自動的にダイアルアウトします。

2.6.4発信側 AP

発信側 AP UI で、以下の作業を行ってください。

1.[MAIN MENU] [Set Serial Port Configuration] を選択します。

2.[Port Use] パラメータを [PPP] に設定します。

3.[Modem Connected] パラメータを [Yes] に設定します。

4.[Connect Mode] パラメータを [Originate] に設定します。

5.[Dialout Number] を選択し、応答側 AP のダイアルアウト電話番号 ( 最 大 31 文字 ) を入力します。この文字列は、一般的な Hayes
