OPERATION

Running

Before Starting

Read the sections Safety Instructions and Presentation before starting the machine.

Perform the daily maintenance before starting (see Maintenance Schedule in the Maintenance section).

Check that there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tanks.

Adjust the seat to the desired position.

The following conditions must be fulfilled before the engine can be started:

the driver must be seated on the seat,

the control for engaging the mower deck must be depressed,

the parking brake must be on,

both steering controls must be in the locked (outer) neutral position.

Starting the Engine

1.

Sit on the seat.

2.

Raise the mower deck by pulling the lifting lever

 

backward to the locked position (transport

 

position) on manual lift units. Activate the

 

parking brake.

3.

Mowers with hydraulic lift decks, are raise by

 

pulling back on the lift switch located on the

 

console.

4.

Disengage the mower deck by pressing the
