3. Engine Oil

Changing the Engine Oil

Change the engine oil and filter for the first time after 50 hours of operation. Thereafter, the oil should be changed every 150 hours and the filter every other oil change.

WARNING!

Engine oil can be very hot if it is drained directly after stopping the engine. Allow the engine to cool.

1.Place the machine on a flat surface.

2.Place a container under the engine. Choose which drain plug is the lowest.

3.Remove the dipstick and open the drain plug.

4.Allow the oil to run out into the container.

5.Then close the oil drain plug.

6.Replace the oil filter if necessary.

7.Fill with new engine oil in accordance with Checking the Oil Level.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Used engine oil is a health hazard and numt not be disposed of on the ground or in nature; it should always be disposed of at a service center or approprite disposl location.

Avoid skin contact; wash with sopa and water in case of spills.

Checking the Oil Level

Check the oil level in the engine when the machine is standing horizontally and the engine is stopped.

Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, and then replace it.

Take the dipstick out again and read the oil level.
