4.Make a test cut adjust the H needle for best cutting power, not for maximum speed.

■ICING PREVENTION SYSTEM
This system prevents icing of the carburetor which sometimes happen while sawing in winter.
When your saw is possible to be frozen at the carburetor during operation, use the system as follows:
1.Remove the air cleaner cover, air filter, and silencer. (F14)

(2)Air cleaner cover
(3)Intake silencer
(4)Air filter
2.Pull off the plug on the rear wall of the cylinder cover and reinstall it upside down. (F15)

3. Install the covers as they are.
IMPORTANT
Never use the system in normal temperature because that can cause starting failure due to overheating of the carburetor.
