Working positions:The hedge trimmer can be operated in 4 working positions.

Rotate cutting unit
	For sideways cutting, the cutting unit can be rotated through 90°.
through 90°:	The cutting unit 4 can be turned to the right or left for right-
	handed or left-handed users respectively.

4 1. Disconnect mains plug.

2. Keep button 3 pressed.

3. Turn cutting unit 4 90° in the required direction until the button 3 locks into place.

3 A safety device prevents the Hedge Trimmer from starting up when the button 3 is pressed or not locked in 0° or 90° position.

For trimming at high and low level, the swivel head 2 can be tilted at an angle of 75° to -45° in 15° increments.

1.Unplug the mains plug.

2.Hold down the button 1.

3. Tilt the swivel head 2 in the direction wanted.

4. Release the button 1 and allow it to engage.

A safety device prevents the hedge trimmer from starting when the button is depressed or not engaged 1 or when the tilting angle exceeds -45° (packing position).
