6. Preparation for Storage

1. Slide the trimmer blade	6
sheath 6 over the trimmer
blade 7.

2.Turn the trimmer blade 7

to the park position , turn the position of the trimmer blade head to position ♣ and fully retract the telescopic handle 2

(see 5. Operation).

3.Store the hedge trimmer in a dry, frost free place, out of the reach of children.

The product must not be added to normal household waste. It must be disposed of in line with local environmental regulations.

vImportant: Make sure that the unit is disposed of via your municipal recycling collection centre.

DANGER ! Risk of physical injury / electric shock!

AV Always disconnect the hedge trimmer from the power supply and slide the trimmer blade sheath over the trimmer blade before performing any maintenance work.

VDo not clean the hedge trimmer under running water (especially high pressure).

The safety clutch is a strong spring-loaded device and must not be disassembled.

vClean the Hedge Trimmer with a damp cloth and lubricate the trimmer blade with a low viscosity oil (e.g. spray-oil).

V Always disconnect the hedge trimmer from the power supply and slide the trimmer blade sheath over the trimmer blade before rectifying any faults.
