SAFETY FUNCTIONS
The machine is equipped with the following safety functions.
Reverse gear buzzer
The machine is equipped with a sensor and a buzzer to indicate that the machine is moving in reverse.
Broom speed limiter
The machine is calibrated to stop broom rotation and the suction fan when the engine speed is above 2,050 rpm.
Joystick safety push-button
The push-buttons on the joystick are active only if the safety push-button (on the joystick) is pressed.
Safety device for control sequence during broom start-up
The suction inlet lower only when the broom switch is pressed.
Sensor for engine start-up inhibition when the drive pedal is pressed
The machine is equipped with a sensor that do not allow for engine start up when the drive pedal is pressed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following table shows the most common problems that may arise when using the machine, the possible causes and the
suggested remedies to solve them.

PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES

BROOMS
The brooms do not clean correctly The brooms are not adjusted correctly Adjust
The broom speed is not correct Adjust the speed
The brooms do not rotate The safety system stopped broom rotation
because the engine speed was excessive Decrease engine speed
Lack of tension in the solenoid valve Check the electrical system
There are oil leaks from the hydraulic system

The motor is faulty Replace
The accessory system pump does not
pressurize the oil in the circuit Check the oil pressure in the hydraulic system
Deactivated broom switch Activate
The fuse is blown Replace
The solenoid valve is burnt Replace
3RD BROOM ARM
The 3rd broom arm swings The tensioning springs are not correctly
adjusted Adjust
The end-of-stroke sensors are not correctly
adjusted Adjust
The 3rd broom arm does not shift sideways Broken safety pin Replace
Lack of tension in the solenoid valve Check the electrical system
The control valve assembly is stuck Repair
The cylinder gaskets are worn Overhaul the cylinder
The switch is deactivated Activate
The fuse is blown Replace
Open left/right shifting push-button Replace
