ASSEMBLY

Correct height

1Forestry clearing

The machine should be supported in a harness when forestry clearing so that the cutting equipment is angled slightly forwards in relation to the ground. Adjust the height using the strap on the harness for the support hook.

2Grass clearing

The machine should be supported in a harness when grass clearing so that the cutting equipment is parallel to the ground.

Triobalance harness

Safety release

Push down the red release lever to release the machine from the harness.

Adjusting the harness

1 Tighten the hip strap so that it sits securely.

2Tighten the chest strap under your left arm so that it fits closely around your body.

3Adjust the shoulder strap to distribute the load evenly across your shoulders. Press downwards on the suspension hook to load the harness.

4Adjust the height of the suspension hook as described in the instructions for the standard harness. (Forestry clearing)

5If you need to lower the suspension hook, for trimming for example, move the suspension strap (A) to the lower mounting point on the backplate.

6The elastic strap (B) can be tightened to transfer more load from the shoulder straps to the hip strap.

Correct balance

1Forestry clearing

The machine is balanced by moving the support ring on the machine forwards or backwards. On some models the support ring is fixed, however, this will then have a number of holes for the support hook. The machine is correctly balanced when it freely hangs horizontally from the support hook. In this way the risk of hitting stones is reduced if you need to release the handlebar.

2Grass clearing

Let the blade balance at a comfortable cutting height, i.e. close to the ground.
