Check Transmission Oil Level

®Do not allow dirt, water, or other debris to enter the expansion chamber or transmission. Even a small amount of dirt

can damage the transmission

Service Interval: Every 25 Hours

Oil Type: Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid

1. Clean the area around the transmission dip stick (A, Figure 25).

2. Remove the dip stick (A) from the transmission and wipe it clean.

3. insert the dip stick into the transmission without threading it in. Remove the dip stick and read the oil level. The oil level should be even with the top of the

hash mark area when the transmission is cold.
