Troubleshooting, Adjustments, & Service

8.To adjust the front of the mower deck, use the adjust- ing nuts on the front hanger bar (A, Figure 31) until the desired measurement is achieved. Be sure to adjust both nuts the same amount.

9.Re-check the blade measurement then repeat steps

7 - 9 as necessary.

ROLLER BAR LEVELING

(If Equipped)

1.First level the mower deck using the procedure found in MOWER DECK LEVELING.

2.With the mower installed, place the rider on a smooth, level surface such as a concrete floor. Turn the front wheels so they are straight.

3.Place the cutting height adjustment lever in the top adjustment notch.

4.Measure the distance between the outside ends of the roller bar and the ground. If there is more than 1/8” (3mm) difference between the measurements on each side, proceed to step 5.

5.Locate the roller bar leveling hardware on the right side of the mower deck (A, Figure 32). Loosen the hardware and raise or lower the roller bar until the correct level is achieved, then tighten the hardware. Repeat steps 4 & 5 if necessary.
