SERIES 1000 & SERIES 1500 TRACTORS

IMPORTANT:Toobtainwarrantycoverageownermustpresentan original proofof purchaseandapplicablemaintenancerecordsto theservicingdealer. Pleaseseetheoperator'smanualforinformationon requiredmaintenanceand serviceintervals.

The limitedwarrantysetforth belowis givenbyCub CadetLLCwithrespectto newmerchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedinthe

UnitedStatesand/orits territoriesand possessions,and by MTDProducts Limitedwithrespectto new merchandisepurchasedor leasedandusedin Canadaand/or its territoriesandpossessions(eitherentityrespectively,"Cub Cadet").

CubCadetwarrantsthis product(excludingits NormalWearParts,Batteries, andFrameandFrontAxleasdescribedbelow)againstdefectsin materialand workmanshipfora periodof three(3)yearsorone hundredtwenty(120)oper- ationhours,whichevercomesfirst,commencingon thedateof originalretail purchaseor leaseand will,at its option,repairor replace,free of charge,any part foundto be defectivein materialsor workmanship.

Normal WearPartsare warrantedto be freefrom defectsin materialandwork- manshipfor a periodof thirty (30)daysfromthe dateof originalpurchaseor lease.Normalwearparts include,butare not limitedto itemssuchas: belts, blades,bladeadapters,grassbags,rider deckwheels,seats,andtires.

Batterieshavea one-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefectsinmaterial andworkmanship,with100%replacementduringthe firstthree months.After threemonths,thebatteryreplacementcreditis basedon themonthsremaining inthetwelve(12)monthperioddating backtothe originaldate of originalsale or lease.Any replacementbatterywill be warrantedonlyfor the remainderof theoriginalwarrantyperiod.

Frameand FrontAxle--CubCadetwarrantstheframe,andfront castironpiv- ot axle againstdefectsin materialandworkmanshipfora periodof five (5) yearsor500 hours,whicheveroccursfirst,commencingon thedateof original purchaseor lease.

Thislimitedwarrantyshallonly applyif this producthas beenoperatedand maintainedinaccordancewiththe Operator'sManualfurnishedwiththe prod- uct, andhas not beensubjectto misuse,abuse,commercialuse,neglect,ac- cident,impropermaintenance,alteration,vandalism,theft,fire, water,or damagebecauseof otherperilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfromthe installationoruse of any part, accessoryorattachmentnotapprovedbyCub Cadetforusewiththe product(s)coveredbythis manualwillvoid yourwarranty asto any resultingdamage.Inaddition,Cub Cadetmaydenywarrantycover- ageif the hourmeter,orany partthereof,is altered,modified,disconnectedor otherwisetamperedwith.

a.Routinemaintenanceitemssuch as lubricants,filters,bladesharpening, tune-ups,brakeadjustments,clutch adjustments,deck adjustments,and normaldeteriorationof theexteriorfinish dueto useor exposure.

b.Servicecompletedbysomeoneotherthan an authorizedservicedealer.

c.CubCadetdoesnotextendanywarrantyforproductssoldor exportedout- sideof theUnitedStatesand/orCanada,andtheir respectivepossessions andterritories,exceptthosesoldthroughCubCadet'sauthorizedchannels of exportdistribution.

d.Replacementparts and/oraccessoriesthatare notgenuineCubCadet parts.

e.Transportationchargesandservicecalls.

f.CubCadetdoesnotwarrantthis productforcommercialuse.

Thereare noimpliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No war- ranties shall applyafter theapplicable period of express written warranty above. No other express warranties beyond those mentionedabove, giv- en by any person or entity, including a dealer or retailer,with respect to any product, shall bind Cub Cadet.The exclusive remedy is repair or re- placement of the product as set forth above. The terms of this warranty provide the sole and exclusive remedy arising from the sale and/or lease of the products coveredhereby.Cub Cadet shall not be liable for any in- cidental or consequential loss or damage including, without limitation, expensesincurred forsubstitute or replacement lawncareservices orfor rental expensesto temporarily replacea warranted product.

Somejurisdictionsdo notallowtheexclusionor limitationof incidentalorcon- sequentialdamages,or limitationson howlongan impliedwarrantylasts,so theaboveexclusionsor limitationsmaynotapplyto you.

In no eventshallrecoveryof any kind be greaterthan theamountof thepur- chasepriceoftheproductsold.Alterationofsafetyfeaturesoftheproductshall voidthiswarranty.Youassumethe riskand liabilityfor loss,damage,or injury to you andyourpropertyand/orto othersandtheir propertyarisingoutof the misuseor inabilityto usethe product.

Thislimitedwarrantyshall notextendto anyoneotherthan theoriginal pur- chaserorto the personfor whomit was purchasedas a gift.
