Driving Instructions

ýWARNING

Zero-speed detect will not limit vehicle speed to 1 mph (1.6 km/h) on very steep grades. Do not operate vehicle on slopes exceeding 20% grades.

Pedal Up Motor Braking (adjustable on IQ System vehicles): Accelerate the vehicle to full speed and then release the accelerator pedal. Motor braking should quickly and smoothly slow the vehicle to approximately 11 mph (17.7 km/h). Motor braking will disengage when vehicle slows to 11 mph (17.7 km/h). This feature is adjustable for IQ System vehicles only. Contact your local Husqvarna dealer/dis- tributor to inquire about this adjustable feature.

Pedal Down Motor Braking: Accelerate down an incline with the accelerator pedal pressed. When the vehicle reaches maximum designed speed, motor braking should engage and limit the vehicle to its maximum designed speed. On very steep grades, the vehicle may slightly exceed its maximum designed speed, requiring use of the brake pedal.

Gasoline Vehicles

Accelerator: With the key switch in the ON position and the Forward/Reverse switch in the FOR- WARD position, as the accelerator pedal is pressed, the engine should start and the vehicle should accelerate smoothly to full speed. When the pedal is released it should return to the original position and the engine should stop. All Husqvarna vehicles operate at reduced speed in reverse.

Governor: Check maximum speed of the vehicle. The vehicle should operate at 17 mph (27 km) on a level surface.
