This section includes information about simple maintenance which includes the following tasks.
• Checking engine oil level
•With engine still warm, remove oil drain cap from oil drain hose (Figure 8). Drain oil completely into a suitable con- tainer.

Check engine crankcase oil level at least every eight hours of |

operation, or before you use it. |

| Be sure the generator is as level as possible. |

• | Remove OIL DIPSTICK (Figure 7) and wipe it dry with clean, |

| • When oil has drained, install and tighten oil drain cap. | ||
