Setting

Fan

This function provides the following options in the cooling fans’ operation when the projector is turned off (p.20).

L1 ...... Normal operation

L2 ...... Slower and lower-sound than the normal operation

(L1), but it takes more time to cool the projector down.

Fan control

This projector provides Fan control function in the Setting menu.

Choose the running speed of cooling fans from the following options according to the ground elevation under which you use the projector.

Off

Normal speed. Set this function to Off when

 

using the projector in non-high altitude

On1

environment.

Faster than Off mode. Select this mode

 

when using the projector in high altitudes

 

(about 1,000 meters to 2,000 meters above

On2

Faster than On1 mode. Select this mode

Lamp counter reset

The fan noise becomes louder in On1 and On2.

Lamp counter

Be sure to reset the Lamp replacement counter after the lamp is replaced. (p.61)

Press the Point ▲▼ buttons to choose the Lamp counter function and then press the Point ► or the SELECT button to access the submenu items.

Lamp counter................This item shows the total

accumulated time of the lamp usage.

Lamp counter reset.......Press the SELECT button to

choose Lamp counter reset . Select yes in the confirmation box if you want to reset the lamp counter, and then choose yes in the second confirmation box to reset lamp counter.
