Resource Controlled By

The Award Plug and Play BIOS has the capacity to automatically config- ure all the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices. However, this capability means absolutely nothing unless you are using a Plug and Play operating system such as Windows 95/98. If you set this field to "man- ual," choose specific resources by going into each of the sub menus that follow this field (a sub menu is preceded by a "Y").

The settings are: Auto (ESCD) (Default), Manual.

IRQ Resources

When resources are controlled manually, assign each system interrupt a type, depending on the type of device using the interrupt.

PCI/VGA Palette Snoop

Leave this field at Disabled. The settings are Enabled, Disabled (Default).

Maximum Payload Size

This allows you to set the maximum TLP payload size for PCI Express devices.

The options are [128 bytes], [256 bytes], [512 bytes], [1024 bytes], [2048 bytes], and [4096 bytes].

4.2.6 PC Health Status

This section shows the Status of you CPU, System Temp, Warning for overall system status. This is only available if there is Hardware Monitor onboard.
