4.1.4 Converting Tradictional and Simplified Chinese Setting

Bidrectional Conversion of Tradictional and Simplified Chinese Setting provides two options: Character-by-Character and Word-by-Word. If you choose Character- by-Character,PCE will change the characters to either Traditional or Simplified Chinese, for example 電腦 will change to become 電腦. If you choose Word-by-Word,電腦 will become 計算机.

4.1.5 Word Segmentation Setting

Due to the article’s print layout, a Traditional Chinese article will be displayed in full- width punctuation, while English articles will be displayed in half-width punctuations. The PCE provides a Half-Width symbol to Full-width symbol function, allowing you to modify article punctuation to make article the layout organized.

Note: Half-Width symbol to Full-width symbol settings will change after the next Sentence Segmentation.

4.1.6 Speed of Speech Setting

If the speed of speech is too fast or too slow, use the cursor to move the Speed of Speech slider to adjust the speed of speech.

Check "Show both Traditional and Simplified Chinese characters in the online translation window.“ to display Traditional and Simplified Chinese characters in the online translation window.
