Operation

1.Connect the unit to the PC using the Parallel port Adapter as shown in Fig. 17.

2.Press the n button to turn on the power.

3.Operate your PC. (Follow the instructions on the CD-ROM.)

When the “PC Memo Scriber” program is properly started on the PC, “PC CONNECT” appears on the display and the control buttons on the unit will not function.

Enrolling/Transcribing a data file (using ViaVoice)

ViaVoice is not supplied and please purchase the ViaVoice.

Enrolling

1.Disconnect the DIGITAL I/O cable.

2.Connect one end of the audio cable to the EAR jack and the other end to the LINE-IN jack on the PC.

3.Press the n button to turn on the power.
