Base Management Controller (BMC)
One instance of BMC is installed for each CPU module primarily to take charge of management within the physical partition (including a single CPU module). Only one instance of SVP is active throughout the system, managing the entire system in cooperation with BMC. SVP and BMC communicate with each other via a SVP
