Storage Conditions

Store the UPS covered and upright in a cool, dry location, with its battery fully charged. Before storing, charge the UPS for at least 4 hours.

Extended storage

At -15 to +30 °C (+5 to +86 °F), charge the UPS’s battery every 6 months.

At +30 to +45 °C (+86 to +113 °F), charge the UPS’s battery every 3 months.

Daily Check

Check the front bezel LEDs and the temperature of the room in which the UPS resides.

Scheduled Check

Once a year check the UPS for discoloration anywhere, frayed cables or power cords, or other signs of deterioration. Check that the air flow around the UPS is adequate and that the vent is clear.
