Input Setting

Video Band Width: Reduce the visual ÒnoiseÓ level of the input signal.

 

(Analog input only)

The video band width settings range from 0-7, with 0 having no correction and 7 having

 

 

the most noise correction. Press ÒLeftÓ or ÒRightÓ to select.

 

 

Sync Threshold: Adjusts the slice level of a synchronization signal.

 

 

Press ÒSELECTÓ to move the adjustment menu. Adjusts the sensitivity of the separate or

 

 

composite input signals.

 

 

Try this option if the FINE adjustment does not successfully eliminate the noise.

 

 

SOG Threshold: Adjusts the sensitivity of the Sync On Green input signals.

 

 

Adjusts the slice level when separating synchronization from sync On Green signal input.

 

 

Press ÒLeftÓ or ÒRightÓ to select.

 

 

Clamp position: Operating your monitor at a non-standard timing may cause images to

 

 

appear darker than normal or have color distortion. Use of the Clamp position control will

 

 

adjust images to their normal state.

CALIBRATION

Selects the Calibration mode (page 21).

 

 

 

 

SELF TEST MODE

Displays an all white screen. Used for copy calibration.

 

 

 

 

FAN CONTROL

Cooling fans are implemented to reduce the internal temperature of the display.

 

 

AUTO: Temperature controlled fan operation.

 

 

ON: Permanent fan operation. It is strongly recommended to set ON when the monitor is

 

 

being used at high altitudes.

 

 

 

 

TEMPERATURE

Current internal temperature is shown in degrees (C).

 

 

 

 

BACKLIGHT

The estimated remaining lifetime of the display backlight is indicated here. Backlight

 

LIFETIME

lifetime depends mainly on the desired calibrated settings. The lower the calibrated

 

 

setting, the longer the backlightÕs estimated lifetime.
