Quick Start

To attach the LCD monitor to your system, follow these instructions:

NOTE: Make sure to read ÒRecommended UseÓ before installation.

In order to display the maximum resolution, a display controller is required which can output a resolution of 1200 x 1600 (in portrait mode) or 1600 x 1200 (in landscape mode) for MD212MC and 1536 x 2048 (in portrait mode) or 2048 x 1536 (in landscape mode) for MD213MC/MD213MG.

We recommend using a digital input.

1.Turn off the power to your computer.

2.Connect the DVI signal cable to the connector of the display card in your system (Figure A.1). Tighten all screws.

We recommend using a digital input. If you use an analog input, connect the 15-pin mini D-SUB to DVI-A signal cable (not included) or D-SUB to D-SUB cable (not included) (only for MD212MC) to the connector of the display card in your system (Figure A.2).

3.Rotate the screen to portrait mode. Refer to the ÒScreen rotationÓ section in this manual.

4.Place hands on each side of the monitor to tilt the LCD panel to a 30û angle and lift up to the highest position (Figure C.1).

5.Connect all cables to the appropriate connectors (Figure C.1).

NOTE: Incorrect cable connections may result in irregular operation, damage display quality/components of LCD module and/or shorten the moduleÕs life.

6.To keep the cables neatly organized, place them into the cable management system that is built into the stand. Place the power cable into the specific hooks as indicated (Figure C.2).

Place the DVI cable and the 15-pin mini D-Sub to DVI-A cable (not included) into the hooks as indicated (Figure C.3).

When using the monitor in Landscape mode, place the DVI cable and the 15-pin mini D-Sub to DVI-A cable (not included) into the hooks as indicated (Figure C.4).

7.Make sure all cables are resting flat against the stand (Figure C.3).

Please check Tilt, Raise and Lower monitor screen and screen rotation when you manage cables.
