Key Guide
Color Keys
MORE (red) Expands a word search.
SAY (green) Says certain words. NOTE (yellow) Displays footnotes.
LIST (blue) Displays Bookmark list.
Function Keys
BACK Backs up (e.g., erases letters).
CAP Shifts . ’ to type an
apostrophe.
CARD Exits the book you’re reading.
CLEAR Clears your request.
ENTER Selects a menu item, enters a word search, or starts the highlight in text.

The color keys (red, green, yellow, and blue) perform the functions listed above only for the BOOKMAN book described in this User’s Guide. Other books have their own color key func- tions, which are labelled on their book cards and listed in their User’s Guides. For more information, read “Using the Color Keys.”
HELP | Displays help messages. |
MENU | Displays the main menus. |
ON/OFF | Turns BOOKMAN on or off. |
SPACE | Types a space or pages down. |
? ✻ | At a verse, displays book, |
| chapter, and verse number. |
. ’ | Types a colon. |

UP DN | Pages up or down. |

✩+ UP Goes to the next or prev-
