2 MHz Mode

2 MHz mode increases the rate at which data is transferred on the twinax line. Normally, data is transferred at 1 Mbps, but the 2 MHz mode doubles the line speed, allowing transfers to occur at 2 Mbps.

NOTE

All stations on the line must be 2 MHz capable in order for this function to work. If there is even one station at the lower speed, all stations will drop down to the lower speed.
