Ping
Ping is a basic Internet program that lets you verify that a particular IP address exists and can accept requests. At command> type in ping and then the IP address that you wish to detect. If the screen shows “reply ok!” from that IP, the device can communicate with that IP address. If the screen shows “no response!”, that IP address is unreachable.
Example:
