1Fan and Ventilation Openings: The cooling fan on the XPower 400 Plus and XPower 700 Plus units are designed to operate only when output power is greater than approximately 100 watts. When the inverter is turned on, the fan may operate momentarily. The ventilation openings should not be covered at any time the inverter is operating.
