3 Operation

Chapter 3 explains how to operate the XPower Powerpack 600HD efficiently. This chapter covers:

Recharging the XPower Powerpack for first time use

Using the built-in light

Operating AC appliances and 12 V DC appliances

Jump-starting a vehicle’s engine

Connecting to an external battery for additional run time.

Operating Conditions and Guidelines

CAUTION

Read all operating instructions before operating the XPower

Powerpack.

CAUTION

Do not use the XPower Powerpack to operate any AC appliances or 12 V DC appliances while recharging with the AC Charger. The AC Charger may fail if AC appliances or 12 V DC appliances are operated while the AC Charger is connected.

CAUTION

The XPower Powerpack is not intended for use as a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
