EMI Requirements for Canadian Market This equipment does not exceed the Class B limits for radio noise emissions from digital apparatus as set out in the Radio Interference Regulation of the Canadian Department of Communications.

Asbestos Asbestos is not used in this product or in its manufactur- ing process.

Flame Retardants The thermoplastic enclosures do not contain polybrominated diphenylether (PBDE) as a flame retardant additive; therefore, they do not emit toxic dibenzofuran and dibenzodioxin gases.

PVC The plastic enclosures are not made of rigid PVC. The material has a non-halogenated, flame-retardant system and is cadmium free.

Ozone Depleting Substance The WS525 is in full compliance with the labeling requirements in the U.S. Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. It does not contain, nor is it manufactured with, a Class 1 ODS, as defined in Title VI Section 611 of this act.

Disposing of your Terminal

Warning

If you need to dispose of your terminal, ask a qualified service representative for the proper disposal procedures. Improper disposal could result in personal injury. The terminal can be returned for proper disposal.
