installing

drive

larger

GB,

you

must

create

more

than

one

partition

to

use

the

 

full

capacity

of

 

your

conventions

OS/2,

operating

After

you

complete

the

 

hardware

installation,

you

must partition

and

format

your

new

drive

before

you can

use

it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If

the

drive

you

 

are

installing

will

be

your

primary

drive

(the

 

drive

that

contains

the

 

operating

system)

and

you

will

NOT

be

 

using

the

Disk Manager

 

 

BIOS,

insert

the

first

operating

system

 

installation

diskette

into

the

diskette

drive;

then

restart

the

 

computer

and

follow

the

onscreen

prompts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you do not have operating

system

installation

diskettes,

see the

 

documentation

that

comes

with

your

operating

system.

 

 

 

 

If

the

drive

you

 

are

installing

will

be

your

primary

drive

(the

 

drive

that

contains

the

 

operating

system)

and

you

WILL

 

be

using

 

the

BIOS,
