Configuration 2: standard USB bus power configuration

Although the Multi-Burner is generally used with the self power, the bus power can be used with limited functions (READ ONLY) under the following conditions (not within the USB standard).

vTwo free USB ports available on your system

Specifications

Read only of CD and DVD media (except DVD-RAM) are supported.

Attention: If you attempt a writeor formatoperation or a DVD-RAM readoperation you will see one of the following error messages and you will need to connect the external AC adapter to complete this operation.

Your power configuration does not support this operation on the IBM USB device. You will need to connect the external AC power adapter to the IBM USB device to complete this operation.
