Rear Panel Cabling

All connectors are on the rear panel. The type and layout of the connectors on the rear panel will vary, depending on the model of the switcher. The following figures show the rear panels of the various MMX 62 switchers (models indicated). The rear

1Power connector — Plug the external 12V power supply into this 2-pole captive screw connector. The power supply is included with the unit. No damage will result if the power connector is wired incorrectly, but the unit will not power up.

Do not tin the stripped power supply leads before installing the captive screw connector. Tinned wires are not as secure in the captive screw connectors and could pull out.

Video signal input connections

The MMX switchers do not alter the video signal in any way. The signal output by the switcher is in the same format as the input.
