2Plug the other end of the power cord into an outlet or power strip.

If your computer has an available power socket, you can use a detachable power cord with a recessed end to plug the monitor directly into the computer. You can get this cord from an Apple-authorized dealer or service provider.

3Connect the monitor cable to the monitor port (marked with ) on the back of the computer.

If you installed a video card in your computer, connect the monitor cable to the video card’s port. For more information about installing video cards, see the manual that came with your computer or video card.

Tighten the thumbscrews on the connection.

Attach one end of the included sound cable to the sound output port (marked by -) on the back of the computer.

Attach the other end of the sound cable to the sound input port (marked by -) on the back of the monitor.
